About Midwest Artist Search

Midwest Artist Search is a dynamic, regional talent competition that professionally screens submissions for a five week, staged singing contest. This high energy production features industry coaching and development of contestants, selection of finalists, culminating in one of the most comprehensive prize packages of any regional music competition.

100 Contestants are selected from all submissions; each of these contestants will compete in a live competition in groups of 25. Each group of 25 will yield 5 finalists totaling 20. Each of 20 finalists will have a photo, bio, and MP3 posted on the Midwest Artist Search website. These 20 finalists will participate in Showdown: Elimination Round— a weekend Workshop and Final Competition.
